1. Who We Are
CourtFree ("we," "us," "our") is a Nevada legal document preparation service. We operate the website at courtfree.polsia.app and related services. CourtFree is regulated under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 240A.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, protect, and share information when you visit our website, complete our questionnaires, or purchase our document preparation services.
By using CourtFree, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two types of information:
A. Information You Provide Directly
When you complete a questionnaire or purchase our services, you may provide:

B. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, device type
- IP address: Used to detect geographic region and prevent fraud; stored in hashed/anonymized form
- Session data: Temporary identifiers to maintain your questionnaire progress across a session
We do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Document preparation: Populating Nevada court form templates with the information you provide
- Service delivery: Generating PDF documents and making them available for download
- Payment processing: Transmitting payment data to Stripe to process your purchase
- Customer support: Responding to questions, troubleshooting issues, processing refund requests
- Service improvement: Analyzing aggregate, anonymized usage patterns to improve our questionnaire flow and documents
- Legal compliance: Maintaining records as required by applicable law, including Nevada's document preparation service regulations under NRS 240A
- Fraud prevention: Detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions and abuse
We do not use your case information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to providing the service you requested.

4. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with the following third-party providers solely to operate our services:
Stripe (Payment Processing)
We use Stripe, Inc. to process payments. When you make a purchase:
- Your payment card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure forms โ CourtFree never sees, stores, or has access to your raw card number, CVV, or full card data.
- Stripe receives your payment card details, billing address, and the transaction amount to process your payment.
- Stripe may also receive your IP address and browser information for fraud prevention.
- Stripe stores payment records in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
CourtFree receives a transaction confirmation and a session token from Stripe, but not your full card details.
Hosting & Infrastructure
Our application is hosted on Render (cloud application platform) using servers located in the United States. Your data is processed and stored within Render's infrastructure. Render's servers are secured with industry-standard controls.
Email Delivery
We may use a third-party email delivery provider to send you document delivery notifications, support responses, and service emails. Your email address is shared with this provider solely to deliver these messages.
5. When We Share Information
Beyond the third-party providers described above, we share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Legal requirement: If required by law, court order, or valid governmental request (we will notify you if permitted by law)
- Safety: If we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to you or others
- Business transfer: If CourtFree is acquired, merged, or transfers substantially all assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction โ you will be notified in advance
- With your consent: In any other circumstance with your explicit prior consent
We do not share your case information with courts, government agencies, or any third party unless required by law. We do not share your information with attorneys, law firms, or legal service providers unless you specifically request a referral.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for the following periods:

After the applicable retention period, we delete or permanently anonymize your data. You may request earlier deletion subject to the exceptions below (see Nevada Privacy Rights).
7. Security
We take the security of your information โ particularly sensitive case data including Social Security Numbers โ seriously. Our security measures include:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS)
- Encryption at rest: Sensitive fields are encrypted in our database using AES-256 encryption
- Access controls: Case data is accessible only to systems and personnel with a direct need to prepare your documents
- PCI compliance via Stripe: We do not store payment card data โ Stripe's PCI Level 1 certified infrastructure handles all card processing
- Session expiration: Questionnaire sessions expire after a period of inactivity
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we use industry-standard measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@courtfree.com.
8. Cookies & Analytics
We use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:
- Session cookies: Temporary cookies that maintain your questionnaire progress. These expire when you close your browser.
- Functional cookies: Remember your preferences within a session (e.g., which step of the questionnaire you completed).
We do not use:
- Third-party advertising cookies (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Pixel)
- Cross-site behavioral tracking
- Persistent profiling cookies
We may use anonymized, aggregate analytics to understand how users navigate our site (e.g., which pages are visited most). This data is not linked to your identity.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling session cookies may prevent the questionnaire from saving your progress.
9. Your Nevada Privacy Rights
Nevada Senate Bill 220 (NRS Chapter 603A) provides Nevada residents with certain rights regarding personal information collected and sold by operators of websites or online services. Additional rights may apply under other Nevada statutes.

Right to Know
You may request information about the categories of personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.
Right to Opt Out of Sale
You have the right to opt out of the "sale" of your personal information. CourtFree does not sell your personal information. We do not exchange your data for monetary or other consideration with any third party for their own purposes.
Right to Access
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will provide this within 60 days of a verifiable request.
Right to Delete
You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to the following exceptions:
- Information we are required to retain under Nevada law (including NRS 240A) or other applicable law
- Information needed to complete a transaction you requested or reasonably anticipated
- Information needed to detect and prevent fraud or security incidents
- Payment records required for tax and legal compliance
Right to Correct
If you believe we hold inaccurate information about you, you may request a correction. Note that we cannot retroactively correct documents already generated based on information you provided โ document correction requests are governed by our Terms of Service.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a privacy rights request, email us at support@courtfree.com with the subject line "Nevada Privacy Rights Request." We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond within 60 days. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will explain why.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under age 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us at support@courtfree.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
For material changes โ particularly those that expand how we use sensitive case data โ we will provide notice via a prominent notice on our website or by email if we have your contact information.
